PRIVACY POLICY
Annapoorni Catering Services Ltd
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy covers our website, Annapoorni Catering Services app and catering services.
Request account and data deletion
To request deletion of your Annapoorni Catering Services rewards account and associated personal data, email annapoornicsl@gmail.com with the subject "Account and data deletion request". Include the email address used for your account or the relevant booking reference. Do not send your password. You can also telephone 07757 531078. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to make a request.
We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We will delete your account and associated information that no longer needs to be kept, and explain any records we must retain and why. Payment and booking records needed for accounting or tax purposes follow the retention period in section 9. We may retain a minimal record of a marketing opt-out so that we do not contact you again.
Sending a request does not immediately delete your account. We will confirm when it has been handled and explain any necessary retention. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or cloud records.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Annapoorni Catering Services Ltd is responsible for the customer information described here. Our address is 78 Spencers Croft, Harlow, CM18 6JT, United Kingdom.
Email: annapoornicsl@gmail.com
Telephone: 07757 531078
2. Information we handle
Depending on the service you use, we handle your name, telephone number, email address, messages, event or delivery address, booking dates and times, guest numbers, menu choices and instructions. We also hold booking references, payment amounts and status, transaction references and receipt records.
For loyalty rewards, we handle customer and account identifiers, email addresses, qualifying orders, stamps and redemptions. Firebase Authentication processes account sign-in details. Technical providers also process connection and device information needed to operate and protect their services.
Information normally comes from you, your use of our services, payment confirmations, or a person arranging catering on your behalf. Please avoid naming individual guests or including medical histories in booking notes. Contact us directly to discuss an individual allergy or dietary requirement.
3. How and why we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, fulfil bookings and deliveries, communicate with customers, record payments, issue receipts and administer rewards.
Our legal bases include taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations and our legitimate interests in customer service, keeping records, preventing misuse and protecting our business. Optional analytics and diagnostics depend on consent.
3A. Optional SMS offers
We send promotional SMS offers only where we have recorded your permission. We keep the name, telephone number and consent details needed to manage this choice. Authorised staff can enter these details or choose an individual contact using the phone's contact picker. The app does not upload the entire phonebook.
The app prepares a message in the phone's messaging app; a staff member must review and send it. The messaging app and mobile network process the message. This catering app does not read your SMS inbox or automatically detect STOP replies.
You can withdraw permission by replying STOP to a promotional text, emailing annapoornicsl@gmail.com or calling 07757 531078. Staff record opt-outs and the app excludes blocked numbers from offers. We retain the minimum suppression record needed to honour your choice. Declining offers does not prevent you from booking catering or using rewards.
4. Optional device location
The app's Panchangam feature requests device location only when you choose the GPS option and grant permission. You can choose a city instead. The selected coordinates and time zone are saved on your device for local calculations. This feature does not continuously track you in the background or upload GPS coordinates to our booking database. A delivery or event address supplied in a booking is handled separately.
5. Optional app analytics and diagnostics
Usage analytics and crash reporting are off by default in the Android app. If you enable them, Firebase Analytics processes app interactions, screen views and technical app/device information. Firebase Crashlytics processes technical error reports, stack traces and app/device information. These services may use installation identifiers. Analytics may derive an approximate location, such as your country or city, from your IP address; this is separate from the optional GPS feature.
Change your choices under More → App privacy & diagnostics. Declining does not prevent bookings or rewards access. Turning reporting off stops future optional reporting but does not automatically erase previously submitted information.
6. Providers and sharing
We use Google Firebase for authentication and cloud storage of booking and customer records. Authorised people helping us fulfil bookings, support our systems or meet accounting and legal obligations may access information necessary for those tasks. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
WhatsApp processes messages you choose to send through it. Opening a prepared message does not send it automatically. Worldpay and PayPal process payments made through their payment links under their own policies. Our booking forms do not collect full card details.
Printing or sharing an order sheet or receipt sends the document's contents to the selected printing service or recipient. Keep printed and downloaded customer documents secure.
Our service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Google's published Firebase data-processing terms provide international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and a UK Addendum where applicable. Other providers describe their transfer arrangements in their own privacy policies. Contact annapoornicsl@gmail.com for further information or copies of the safeguards relevant to your information.
7. Website cookies and external services
Necessary browser storage remembers privacy choices for 180 days. Optional Google Analytics, YouTube embeds and Google Maps are controlled through Cookie settings on our home page. Optional services can receive your IP address, usage and device information and use cookies or browser storage.
Direct links to social platforms, maps, videos and payment services open those providers under their own policies. Our website's cookie panel explains its storage controls in more detail.
Provider privacy information: Google and WhatsApp. Payment-provider privacy information is available on their payment pages.
8. Security
Our cloud services use encrypted connections and access controls. Administrative booking and customer records are restricted to authorised access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, banking PINs, one-time security codes or full card details in booking messages.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain payment records and booking information needed for accounting and tax purposes for six years from the end of the relevant company financial year, or longer where legally required.
Other personal information is kept only for as long as needed for its purpose, including handling enquiries, administering rewards and resolving outstanding matters. Technical reports follow the relevant service retention settings.
Uninstalling the app does not delete records held by us. To request deletion of a rewards account or other personal information, email annapoornicsl@gmail.com or call 07757 531078. Give the relevant account email or booking reference, but never your password. We may verify your identity. We will explain if particular records must be retained for legal obligations or outstanding matters.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact us using the details above to exercise these rights or raise a concern. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
11. Updates
We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The latest version and its updated date will appear on this page.
